About Spiderwebz Yarns
Kia Ora, Hello.
My name is Nicole and I come from the land of the long white cloud, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
All my life I have been around crafts such as sewing and knitting. When I was 12 I started to learn to spin on an Ashford Spinning wheel, found it too hard and soon gave up. However I started spinning again when my mother showed me yarns by Lexi, the art yarn guru and I decided that I wanted to start it up again.
Several years ago, I did a art yarn Spinning class with Lexi, after learning from Lexi first hand I started Spiderwebz Yarns as a way to help fund my university studies. I am currently at the University of Waikato doing a double degree in Primary Teaching and Applied Computing.
